Giving
There are many opportunities to be part of the Brigidine College community through parent support, gifts made by our local businesses, financial bequests or time and dedication by our broader community and partners.
Giving at Brigidine
Brigidine College is much more than a place of education, it is a vibrant giving community. The opportunity to give allows for several planned developments, refurbishment projects and support of our Bursary program.
There are many ways to support the Giving program at the College such as participating in our annual Giving appeal, supporting Alumni Giving campaigns, leaving a legacy through a bequest, funding scholarships for those who otherwise would not be able to attend Brigidine, and supporting our building programs.
We invite you to join us and the College Community by supporting one of Brigidine’s tax-deductible funds. We thank you for your kind support. Every gift is greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small, so together we can make an indelible impact for todays and tomorrow’s generation of young women.
Creating a Legacy
As our students continue to strive for excellence, we are excited to launch the 2024 Annual Giving campaign which will support our new state of the art Sports Precinct.
Our vision extends beyond merely constructing a facility; we aim to create a vibrant hub where all students can train, compete, flourish and grow. Our new and modern Sports Precinct will not only serve as a beacon for sporting excellence but it will be a gathering place for our community to come together, fostering a sense of belonging.
Our students’ vision for the Sports Precinct is to install solar panels on the roof when construction is completed. They are passionate about sustainability and making a difference.
Why do we need your support? This project is bigger than any one of us—it’s about investing in the future of our community and ensuring that our students continue to have the resources they need to succeed. By contributing to the 2024 Annual Giving campaign, you are not just building a facility; you are investing in the dreams and aspirations of our current and future students who will all benefit from this Sports Precinct for years to come.
Together, we can build more than just a Sports Precinct—we can build a legacy that will enrich the lives of our students.
Thank you for considering this important investment in our community’s future. We have seen in the past what can be achieved when our vibrant Brigidine community bands together in support of a cause. Indeed, this is a unique opportunity to make a difference for the school and students.
Your contributions are tax deductible.

Take a seat!
We each remember our days and journey at Brigidine in our own way with a great sense of belonging and connection. We invite you to commemorate your time or your daughter’s and connection with the College by ‘Taking a Seat’ in the Murray Theatre as a lasting way to secure your legacy at Brigidine.
It is exciting that seats have been given in the names of students, families, staff, sisters, mothers and daughters. It is endearing to see these plaques with names and dates in many rows in the Theatre and we hope you or your daughter will join them.
The cost for an inscribed plaque on the back of a seat is $500 and is tax deductible.
Change her life
Education is a gift.
We invite you to support Brigidine’s Bursary Fund. Our vision to ensure we can support girls in our community with a Brigidine education that provides strong values and gives girls confidence in their abilities and talents depends on your generosity so that the fund is sustainable into the future. The impact of a bursary can have a tremendous life changing effect on lives and provides invaluable support to families who have experienced loss or hardship.
Your gift is tax deductible and will benefit and help young women, providing a stable continuing education knowing that a Brigidine education can certainly change a life.

Bequests
Some of us choose to leave behind a very special gift which will make a difference to our treasured school. Through a Gift in your Will you can help build the future security of our College. Such a gift can assist in:
- Maintaining the College’s excellence in education
- Contributing to the College’s capital development
- Providing a financial base to ensure the College’s future independence.
- Naturally you will want to meet the needs of your family first and we recommend that you also seek legal advice regarding your affairs.
All these gifts help the College to raise funds for ongoing development and progress.

Sponsorships and
Corporate Partnerships
It is with the help of supporters, individual and corporate, that Brigidine College St Ives can be the treasured place that it is today. While our parents support the College through fee payments additional support given by donors and sponsors helps us to provide initiatives that make a difference to the educational experiences of the girls and their development.
Last year we were grateful to our sponsors of the Change Her Life campaign. ACER and Exetel, our Gold Sponsors and BRASV Group, our Silver sponsors, have donated to the College to assist with bursary support for those students whose families need our financial support for their daughter’s education. Please visit their websites and support them in return.
We appreciate the gifts made by local businesses and sponsors and ask our community to give their support to our corporate partners in return where possible.
We thank all those who give to the College and the girls, whatever the size of the gift. Every gift is important and every gift is appreciated.

College Development
As with most independent schools, Brigidine College uses tuition fees to pay for the operating costs of the school. These fees do not include a levy for assets or provide capital for major projects or upgrades. Therefore, when major building projects are needed to maintain the standard of teaching, resources and to facilitate 21st century learning, the College relies on the generosity of its community to help fund and deliver those projects.
Building developments provide specialist facilities which benefit the students and create inspiring learning environments. This support is highly valued and integral to the successful and ongoing development and advancement of the facilities at our College. Our girls are now enjoying the benefits of these impressive facilities.
